Help My Friend Bora Fight Stage 4 Cancer & Rebuild After Sudden Hardship
At just 49 years old, Bora is a devoted wife and mother to three daughters—one recent college graduate, one in college, and one in high school. Her life has always centered around caring for her family, even in the face of unimaginable challenges.
In 2017, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was a long and difficult journey, including a unilateral mastectomy and over seven surgeries due to complications. Through it all, she showed incredible strength and resilience.
After eight years of being cancer-free, devastating news came—her cancer had returned as stage 4 metastatic breast cancer (MBC) in her spine.
She was on state disability in CA but when her family was transferred to SC she had to apply for Federal Disability, and like so many others, her claim was denied, leaving them without the financial support they desperately need. They are in the appeal process now.
Last night, though, another unexpected hardship occurred.
While driving home from church on the interstate, Bora and her husband came face to face with a black sofa. By the time it came into headlight range they had no time to react and hit it head-on. Thankfully, they were not injured—but their car was severely damaged, leaking fluids, and had to be towed. Because of the shock of the sudden impact, Bora has been in pain and has not been able to sleep.
They are now without reliable transportation as their second vehicle is in need of repairs.
This family is facing:
• Ongoing medical expenses for stage 4 cancer treatment
• Loss of income due to inability to work
• A denied disability claim (currently in appeal process)
• Sudden loss of their primary vehicle and unreliable second vehicle
They need help—and they need it now.
If you are able, please consider donating to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time. Every dollar will go toward medical expenses, transportation, and supporting this family as they walk through the fight of their lives.
If you’re unable to give, please share this page and keep this family in your prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
