Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because one of our cats, Boots, needs dental surgery, and I’m struggling to cover the cost on my own.
Boots is a 2 year old tortie, polydactyl sweetheart with extra toes and plenty of tortie-tude to match. She’s sassy, expressive, and full of personality. Underneath it all, she’s incredibly loving and affectionate. The kind of cat who steals hearts fast and makes everyone fall in love with her.
Boots has tooth resorption, a painful condition where the teeth break down from the inside. Atleast 5 of her teeth are severely affected. They’re red, inflamed, and causing pain and chattering. She needs these out to stop the pain from getting worse. After her checkup and bloodwork, her estimate is now sitting between $2,545.03-$3,236.47. Considering the amount of teeth she needs removed, we are probably looking at the higher end of the estimate.
I know times are tough for everyone right now, and I completely understand that not everyone can donate. My household is also struggling and I hate asking for help. I work as hard as I can, but this is simply more than I can handle on my own.
Boots has been our comfort, our constant, and our little shadow through so much and I don’t want her in constant pain.
If you’re able to donate anything at all, even the smallest amount, it means more than I can explain. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing her story helps more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for caring about Boots
