Boots to Ghana - DGPLIFESTYLE proyect - Give Young Players a Chance to Play

A pair of boots might seem small — but for these kids, it means everything.

Hi, my name is Diego, and I’m a firefighter based in Ireland and the founder of DGPlifestyle.

I’m raising funds to support a football team in Ghana: Rising Stars Football Club, based in Tamale.

This project started with a simple idea:

In Europe, we all have football boots we no longer use. In Ghana, many young players train and compete without proper equipment — sometimes barefoot or sharing worn-out boots.

So I decided to take action.

We are currently collecting:

Football boots (all sizes, ages 8–17)

All items are donated — but getting them to Ghana is the real challenge.

This fundraiser will cover:

International shipping costs to Ghana

Transport to Tamale

Additional essential gear for the players

Every donation helps us turn unused gear into real opportunity.

This is not just about football.

It’s about discipline, structure, and giving these kids a better path through sport.

I will personally oversee the collection, shipment, and delivery to ensure everything reaches the players.
