Boost the Gardner Boys' Hockey Journey

Hello, my name is Jeff Gardner,

and I’m reaching out to share our story and ask for your support in a time of need.

Our journey has been a challenging one, filled with ups and downs that have tested our resilience and determination. We’ve faced hardships that many would find insurmountable—from experiencing homelessness to struggling without a car, and surviving the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic which saw our small business shuttered by government mandates.

Despite these obstacles, we’ve always believed in the power of perseverance and the importance of never giving up. Our family has pulled together through thick and thin, always finding a way to move forward even when the odds seemed against us. We’ve fought hard to keep our dreams alive, and now, more than ever, we need a little help to continue on our path.

This weekend, my three boys have the opportunity to participate in the SCAHA tryouts—a crucial step in their hockey journey. These tryouts are unexpectedly early, and the timing has left us scrambling to gather the necessary funds for their USA Hockey memberships and the tryout fees (and funds owed to the club) As their father, it breaks my heart to think they might miss out on this chance due to financial constraints.

These boys have shown incredible dedication, teamwork, and talent. They have the potential to make a significant impact on any team that gives them the opportunity to shine. Hockey is more than just a sport to them; it’s a passion and a dream that keeps them motivated and focused.
