Boost Philly Rowing Documentary: It's a Philly Thing

We're raising funds to cover the finishing costs of our feature length documentary called "It's a Philly Thing." These costs include creating a score, sound mixing, color correction and marketing.

It’s been a Philly affair at the Dad Vail Regatta for the past three years. The Drexel University and La Salle University rowing rivalry has dominated the Men’s Eight and the Philadelphia Boathouse Row Community. Matt Weaver, Drexel’s new Men’s Head Coach, takes charge of a storied program that has won the last three Dad Vail Men’s Eight Titles. Building off the success of a program created by Paul Savell, Matt is looking to push the team to new heights at the national level. Standing in their way, a team that four years ago wasn’t even in contention at the Dad Vail. La Salle University is now on a rapid rise under new leadership. One of Drexel Rowing’s favorite sons, Ivo Krakic, has taken over the program and has his sights set on beating his old team and making La Salle a national rowing powerhouse. Together these two coaches are pushing themselves and their programs to best each other in a high-stakes competition to be named Dad Vail Champion.
