Jeff Boost Lee's Memorial Fund

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am initiating this campaign for my fiancé, Jeff. For those of you who are lucky to know Jeff, also famous as “Boost Lee” amongst friends and in the car community, you know just how amazing and kind-hearted he is; Jeff knows no strangers and loves being a police officer, as he is ready and willing to help anyone.

In September of 2018, Jeff was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease [IgA Nephropathy (Bergers Disease) and FSGS]. Since learning of his illness, Jeff has started peritoneal dialysis at home for approximately 10-hours a day. Jeff has done his best to stay positive and adjust to life with kidney disease, but numerous medical issues have arisen, ultimately causing him to be on leave from work for extended periods of time. His inability to work consistently, along with the regular accrual of medical expenses, has caused significant financial strain. To add to that, Jeff was diagnosed with Covid-19 this past week and collapsed in his home on 10/22. He was taken to the hospital unresponsive. He’s now conscious again, but fighting to maintain oxygen levels on his own, and has a lot of fluid on his lungs.

Jeff has a long battle ahead fighting Covid-19 and the kidney disease. The goal is to remove some of the financial burden spawning from medical expenses and basic everyday needs.
