Boost Cevin and Basquiat's Journey to Stability

Hi friends! I'm Cevin and the cute doggo in the photo is Basquiat. We're 2 Brooklynites trying to make it out here and we need a bit of help. It's been tough for us (as it has been for us all!) over the past year, so we're reaching out to our community for help. I had to take on a huge amount of debt since the pandemic, as well as endure impactful pay cuts at my job. However, I love what I do, my neighborhood, my community, and don't want to quit. Any and every bit of help you can provide will go straight to our financial turnaround and to the baby girl Basqui’s surgery and wellbeing.

We need help with things like groceries, home supplies, dog food, puppy period supplies, rent, and general living expenses.

Costs include $2000/month for rent, $150/week for groceries, and $300+ monthly for dog food and supplies.

This fundraiser will help towards Basqui getting fixed, she has recently seen a vet for the first time in over a year due to financial difficulties, since then she’s grown over 50lbs and had two heat cycles, she’s also missed months of flea/tick, and heart worm medication and I’d love for her to remain healthy and happy!

I am also interested in leads for any full time publishing positions or part time creative and/or remote work as I have to be around to care for my dog. I have a BA in Communications/Mass Media if that is helpful! I also shoot film photography, do video editing and copy editing.
