There is rarely a day that goes by in California that you do not see a homeless person. California has more homelessness than any other state in the nation. I do not have the solution to overcome this issue, but feel compelled to do my part as a young Catholic to help the homeless have a better day. I've created Boost Bag, a bag that will be given to the homeless that includes some essentials - socks, hygene products, snacks, a blanket etc. Donations go directly towards making and distributing Boost Bags. I along with the recipients will be sincerely grateful for your donation. This bag may not solve homelessness, but it will surely boost someone's day.
