The hardest thing in the world is asking people for money. But as a mother, I feel compelled to reach out on behalf of my son. My name is Karen DeLoach. I am 75 years old. After 6 operations. no right hip, and an infection that has infiltrated my bones, I am bedridden.
But it is my son Andrew DeLoach for whom I'm asking a helping hand. He works two jobs. He drives a pedicab and gives tours around Savannah (which is seasonal work and has been slow the last couple of months), plus he just started working for a transport company. It is far from his apartment, and since he doesn't have a car, he has to pay Uber to get to work. This digs into his income a lot. Meanwhile, he has been taking an online course with extensive training, preparing himself for a job working with autistic children. This is where his heart is, but it's a long process that takes a lot of time. Meanwhile, he needs help to get caught up and try to get together a down payment for an inexpensive car. He has looked desperately for a better job closer to his apartment, but hasn't found one. His roommate moved, so he is responsible for all bills, not just half. If you can find it in your heart to help give him a boost, we would really appreciate it! He is trying to raise $4,000.00 to catch up on bills and get together a down payment for a car. Thank you to those who have already contrbuted! You are greatly appreciated! Every single donation is needed, no matter how small. If you can't donate please share this fundraiser with others. And please pray for him. God knows what he needs. God bless you!
