Boo’s Vet Bill and Care

Hi,

I am Wei, the owner of two Shiba Inu, who lives in the south Philly area. I created this page to fundraise for one of my pups, Boo, a 3 yo boy, who went through emergency surgery last night.

Boo got attacked by an off-leash Pit Bull right outside the McNichol Field at the corner of 25th and Mifflin St, on 03/18/2023 at 7:00 PM. The dog came out from nowhere and instantly attacked my dog, gripped on Boo's right arm and chest area for more than 2 minutes before we separate them. The owner blames me for not seeing the pit bull coming and fled the scene and only gave the wrong phone number.

I was shocked and wanted to rescue my dog from the injury. I rushed to the emergency room at PASE on Washington and 21st St last night and luckily, Boo is safe and recovering now. I most likely will never find out who the owner is and hold him accountable, but I now have an expensive vet bill on top of all the emotional damage and trauma. My friends from South Philadelphia Dog Owners Association suggested I have a gofundme link to help with the cost. It will help and support me and Boo tremendously.
