Boo’s Treatment & Recovery

My name is Kelly and if you know me, you know my life revolves around my dogs.

Boo is my first baby, my bestest girl, my everything.

She was attacked by a large dog, resulting in punctures to her throat. Luckily, it didn’t pierce her jugular—the vet said it missed by 1-2mm, and she’s lucky to be alive! X-rays showed no neck break, but she has a concussion and liver trauma.

She spent 2 days and nights at the emergency vet hospital (who were fantastic!!) and is now home safe, resting and recovering.

The emotional stress has been one thing, but now the financial stress is another.

I’m usually the one offering help or donating, so it definitely feels odd to be on the other side where I’m now asking for help in donations to help cover some of the costs associated with her treatment, follow-ups, and recovery.
