As most of you know, Boo and I were walking at Community Park on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 28th, when she was brutally and viciously attacked by 4 large dogs who were off-leash. As a result of the injuries she sustained we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize her. Boo truly was the sweetest, most loving, amazing dog who touched the lives of all who knew her. To help our whole family move on from the horror of this experience we wanted to find a way to honor and remember Boo. We have decided to set up a hardship fund in Boo's name to help pet owners who might have emergency vet bills that are out with their financial means. The fund will be "Boo's Legacy" and will be managed by Katie Willis, the director of St Charles County Division of Humane Services. It will be our way of bringing a ray of sunshine into a terrible situation.
