Hi, my name is Camila, and I never imagined I’d be here—asking for help. But today, I’m doing it for Boomer.

Boomer is my 11-year-old companion, my constant, and the soul that became my family from the moment he walked into my life. He’s sweet, a little goofy, deeply loyal, and loved by everyone who’s had the joy of meeting him. He’s been with me through every chapter—celebrating the good, staying close through the bad—and now, it’s my turn to give back and fight for him with everything I have.

A couple of years ago, Boomer and I left behind everything we knew in Chile and started a new life together in Canada. It wasn’t easy, but we’ve built a home again, side by side.

Lately, life has tested us. What started as a swollen lymph node turned into months of vet visits, tests, treatments, and worry. He underwent dental surgery, lost teeth, changed diets, and still didn’t seem better. Recently, we received the news I feared: Boomer has a tumor in his neck: likely cancer.

The good news is that the oncologist believes Boomer has a strong chance of recovery with surgery.

The hard part is the cost:
• A CT scan of the head, neck, and chest: $4,000 CAD
• Surgery to remove the tumor: around $8,000 CAD
• Insurance covers only part, and we’ve already used most of it on previous procedures.

I’ve managed to cover the bills so far with my savings and working two jobs, but this time, I can’t do it alone.

That’s why I’m here… not just to raise money, but to ask for your help in giving Boomer a chance to keep living the life he deserves.

If you’ve ever loved a pet like family, you know. You just know.

Every dollar, every share, every kind word makes a difference.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us hold onto hope.

Thank you for reading this far. I am. grateful for everyine who donated and supported us. Boomer CT scan showed he has metastasic cancer, they found mass in his lungs, liver and spleen thefore there ir not more to do. Surgery is not longer an option, chemo is out of the table as well. His cancer is advanced, I will love him forever and I'll give him my best as I have always done.
Thank you everyone, thank you Boomer for being so strong.
