Boom's (Vic) Recovery Fund

Our friend Boom (Vic Girard) needs our help. After spending two weeks  in the ICU unit at Sunnybrook Hospital due to breaking 11 ribs and his collarbone along with internal injuries (lung and stomach), he has been transferred to the Trauma Care Unit.  Boom is  self employed, typically physical contractor work, about to begin  his busy work season, but  the prognosis for him is a very long recovery period with no income likely.  The purpose of this fundraiser is to help with all of the costs associated with recovering from such a severe health situation,  and loss of income. He will likely be out of work for  4 to 6 months. As with many self employed, the cost of additional insurance is extraordinary and  Boom has no supplemental health care, no prescription coverage , no disability or business interruption  insurance. Boom and family would greatly appreciate  your generosity at this tragic time, as do his close friends.
