About this fundraiser
Vincent A. Lanci is organizing this fundraiser through Left for Dead Incorporated to help place meaningful children’s books and lived-experience school presentations into schools working with limited budgets. Schools are being asked to support students facing increasing emotional, behavioral, and mental-health challenges while also working through limited budgets and staffing shortages. This mission is deeply personal to Vincent. Vincent survived a severe traumatic brain injury after being hit by a drunk driver and had to relearn how to walk and talk. Later, Vincent earned an MBA and became an author and speaker. That journey inspired Vincent to create books and presentations that help children understand difficult emotions, ask for support, and believe that their circumstances do not define their futures.
How support will help
Funds raised will be managed through Left for Dead Incorporated and used to provide copies of Vincent’s children’s books to participating schools at a discounted school sponsorship price. Support will also help cover packaging, shipping, and delivery, travel for in-person school presentations, age-appropriate discussion materials for educators and students, and the coordination required to work with each school. Schools and students will receive the books and programming directly rather than cash payments. Vincent knows not everyone is able to make a large contribution, but every donation and share can help this mission reach another student. If this mission speaks to you, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser so more young people can receive practical tools, understanding, and hope.
