Hi, I’m a Portland mom raising money to purchase books for the children and parents in Bend, OR. After yesterday’s tragic school shooting in Bend, it would be helpful to provide children and community members with books to help everyone navigate their unthinkable loss. I’ve been in communication with Roundabout Book Shop, a local bookstore in Bend, to create a list of recommended books for us to purchase for these families. All funds will go toward books and be donated to the school district and public libraries. We have an excellent list of books to help children from preschool age to high schoolers. Let’s get together and support this kind, small Central Oregon community. Sending love and gratitude.
