“Books and Coffee” is an original short film project! Our story is about a troubled bookstore owner, who develops a crush on the new manager of the coffee shop next door. We follow as the two of them end up locked inside the coffee shop, working together to find a way out.

This film project is ultimately a meet-cute gone wrong! We hope to explore themes of love language through quality time, and the crazy feelings that come from liking someone romantically. If having a crush makes you feel like you're losing your mind, this project is for you! <3

We're hoping to raise money to bring this project to life! Going towards important things such as our crew, production design, and equipment/location rental costs. We have an end goal of raising $3,000! Creating a short film is a huge job! Especially for young working or studying filmmakers! Which is why we need your help to make this dream a reality!

As excited as we are to create this amorous passion project, we also value making something that'll look good on our portfolios, gaining experience working in film, and bonding over creating art together. Our hope is that this project will have a major positive impact on all of our careers in the long run!
