As a non-profit organization, we have shipped over 100,000 schoolbooks, school supplies, sewing machines, backpacks and math manipulatives to Punta Gorda, Belize. We also hold teacher and principal training workshops to educate them on the curriculum. We now have over 100,000 schoolbooks, phonics readers, anthologies, chapter books, grade-level reading books and math books for 50 village schools.
How can you help with "Books 4 Belizeans?" You can donate $250 to ship 1 (55-gallon) barrel of Books 4 Belizean or any amount to help with the shipping. We are raising money to pay for the schoolbooks and sewing machines shipped from Los Angeles, California, to 50 village schools in Punta Gorda, Belize. Donations in any amount can put a book into a child's hand and educationally touch the nation's future. It can also help launch the young women in the villages to have sustainability by learning the sewing trade.
