Booker Bean is our 4-year-old pup who’s unfortunately been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma. This is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system, specifically the lymphocytes (white blood cells) meant to help your immune system.

We have made the decision to start a chemotherapy treatment plan to help fight the cancer, extend his life, and shower him with love in the next year. Chemotherapy is a very well tolerated treatment for dogs in these cases. Fortunately, he’s not in pain and has not had the cancer affect his lungs or breathing, which would negatively affect his quality of life. If/when that time comes, we will choose what is best for Booker and switch to palliative care for his comfort. But as long as our boy is still happy and moving well, we want him to have as many positive experiences as he can.
