Very sick
Booger was diagnosed with prostate cancer nearly 2 years ago. I put him on an experimental treatment and started aquatic aerobic therapy. He snapped back! However, his on-going expenses have become enormous.
Recently, booger has become very sick again. He got a severe infection and went septic. His kidneys and liver are enlarged and his little body is fighting really hard to survive. He needs on-going medical care and is on his second day inpatient at his veterinary clinic. How long he will have to continue this treatment is unclear and the cost associated is also. On this round of treatment alone were already at $1300 in the past 2 days.
He also needs to go see a specialist for ultrasound and diagnosis for the source of the infection and potential masses in his belly. From there he may also need a neurology visit to diagnose the weakness and instability in his gate.
We are doing all we can for this little guy, but if we could afford to take him to a specialist, we might just be able to give him many more years on this planet. His little face and silly expressions have brought so much joy and happiness to people all over the world. He has been a viral sensation for over a year now. I am asking for help from those who love booger so we can give him the absolute best care he deserves.
In the last 2 years alone we have spent roughly 10,000 in vet bills and there is no end in sight! He has special medicine he takes daily, a special diet and he takes an enormous amount of care and attention. Any help we can get would be so appreciated. I love booger so much and I know all of you do too. I don't want our budget to be the deciding factor on what medical help he can get.
