Booby Trap Bust-Out: Support Kadian's Breast Cancer Battle

My name is Julianna, and Kadian is my hero. It's easy to get superlative fatigue, so I need you to really hear me when I say: Kadian is phenomenal. I have been the recipient of Kadian's kindness so many times. They have gotten me through some dark, dark days, even when their own sky was threatening rain. They have the biggest heart of anyone--yes, literally anyone--I know. Kadian is smart, funny, supportive, and is a force for good in this world. They give endlessly, they love and care so deeply, and they always, always consider the well-being of others ahead of their own.

That's why we're here-- because it's time for us to prioritize Kadian's wellbeing like they have always prioritized ours.

Kadian has breast cancer and frankly, that's unacceptable. We need to do something about it. While studies show that cancer doesn't wither in the face of our immense collective rage, it DOES respond to medical treatments that you can pay for with money--so let's raise some goshdarn money! It's expensive and stressful to be sick, and we mostly can't change how expensive stuff is, but we can ease the strain of financial uncertainty. The money we raise will be used to pay for Kadian's medical and logistical expenses related to their cancer treatment, including transportation, food, lodging, co-pays, prescriptions, out-of-network tests and consults, and whatever else they need to ensure they get the care they need to be well.
