Hello! My name is Rai, I'm a 37 year old trans/non-binary person living in London and I am raising funds to access gender affirming healthcare.

I have now been waiting for over 2 years to receive my first appointment with the Gender Identity Clinic and start my journey towards top surgery. Since the average waiting time has recently been updated to 5 years or more I have decided to go private.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford to shoulder the costs of private healthcare alone - I currently work full time as a theatre technician, but my salary plus living expenses do not allow me to save the money that I need. This is why I am seeking financial support to move forward and hopefully achieve my goal within the next year.

I'm planning to go to Lithuania (Nordesthetics Clinic) for top surgery, as it is much more affordable compared to the UK - and after doing research and receiving feedback from people who have had surgery at the clinic, I feel confident they're the right choice for me.

Breakdown of surgery (related) costs:

Nordesthetics Clinic top surgery cost: £3,800.00

Pre-operative test package: £198.00

After care package: £375.00

Referral letter from a qualified professional: £250.00

Subtotal: £4,623.00

The above costs do not include accommodation, flights and time off work for recovery - hence the target is set at £5,000.00.
