Hi everyone,

My name is James Shulties, and I am heartbroken to share that my mom, Bonnie Cherricks, passed away on June 29th at 2:30 am. She was born on August 4, 1955, and gave me 39 wonderful years filled with her warmest smiles, a warrior’s heart of gold, and so much love. Bonnie was a CNA who spent her life caring for others, and she loved crocheting and listening to country music—especially Elvis, who she adored more than anything.

I am reaching out because I need help covering her funeral expenses, as well as the bills and food she was always helping me with. In her memory, I also want to fulfill one last wish she had for me: to travel and see some of the places she never got to visit. She dreamed of going to the Florida beaches, seeing where Elvis was born and raised, visiting Nashville to hear country singers, going to Mount Rushmore, and attending horse races—something close to her heart since she grew up with that. I’ve never even left Delaware except for short trips to Maryland and New Jersey, so I will need help with a passport, travel expenses, and gear if I’m going to try and make any of this possible.
