My name is Jade, and I am a close friend of the family. I am writing this on behalf of Bonnie Rae’s parents, Tyla and Nathan.

Bonnie Rae was born on 17th August 2025 at 12:29am, weighing 7lb 15.5oz a happy, healthy, and beautiful baby girl.

She was a joyful, giggly little soul who had just tried her first tastes of solid food and was beginning to show her own sweet personality. Her big brother Harrison and big sister Delilah absolutely adored her. Bonnie Rae completed their family in a way they never knew was missing, the final piece of their puzzle.

In the lead-up to Christmas, everything felt just like it does for so many families, putting up decorations, watching Christmas films, and wrapping presents in excitement for the big day. On Christmas Eve, Tyla took Bonnie Rae to bed like she would any other night, nothing different nothing changed just her same normal bed time routine! looking forward to the joyful chaos of Christmas morning.

Tragically, that morning never came. The unimaginable happened, Bonnie Rae never woke from her sleep.

The entire family is now heartbroken and trying to process this devastating loss. At this time, they do not yet have answers as to what caused Bonnie Rae’s passing, and they may not receive an official cause of death for several months while post-mortem examinations are completed.

This GoFundMe has been created to help give Bonnie Rae the beautiful farewell she deserves and to support her parents in the months ahead. Returning to work is the last thing Tyla and Nathan should have to worry about during this time. They need the space and time to grieve, to heal, and to be together as a family in private and in peace.
