Service Canine and Man With Cancer

Donation protected
I am tried to log into GoFundMe and my Facebook Login was just "swirling" for the last half hour.  Now I am trying the app.

I had to Euthanize my Rat Terrier, Katie Mei, on October 14th of 2017 (she was born on "Kentucky Derby Day" in 2006, May 6th).  It was hard on me as well as my roommate.  The vet did not suggest it, and I doubt I would have considered it an option since she was not in pain, for Bonnie Blue.

Our "Heinz 57" a 50# Lab and Doberman Mix, Bonnie Blue, has breast cancer.  The first photo is a before shot. The second photo is an estimate (the breast cancer was deeper and more severe than the doctor thought, so she had to stay under longer and has to stay for a few more days at the vet sedated).  The third photo is Monday night, about 8 hours before she was taken to the vet.  The last photo so far is the Veterinarian who did the surgery (as you can see he is a Magna Cum Laude in his undergrad and was trained in Oncology at the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine).

The estimate was upped Tuseday afternoon since she had to be an inpatient for a few days, to $1,000-1,100 so far (we picked her up on Thursday and I will include images of the paid bill thus far and all documents...her biopsy will be in next week sometime...she goes back in on June 6th for her stitches to be removed).  If it is Benign or Malignant she has more surgery ahead. If it is malignant it is about a 90 minute drive each way to Columbus for chemo and or radiation).

If many people can contribute what they can it will help. My Godson wrote a message on Facebook and I am just editing and updating his original message here (he also could not log into GoFundMe).  He had options to call the vet to help by making direct payments, or my PayPal. But that was all written Tuesday and she was discharged Thursday.

They take CareCredit and Daniel my roommate has one (I had to co-sign for him to get a hearing aid replacement since Medicare does not cover them) that I planned on maxing out if I needed to, and put the rest on the Barclay Mastercard we use for all other emergencies (that is up to $34,000 with two funerals [Daniel's sister and mother] emergency house repairs, my medical bills not paid for by Medicare and Medicaid [including $8,000 after I had my Prostate Brachytherapy Surgery on 10-January-2017, the Medical care and Euthanasia of Katie Mei on 14-October-2017, her cremation, and groceries such as toilet paper not covered by food stamps).  So we are really hurting in many ways. My car broke down on the way to OSU medical Center in May of 2018 and we were stuck in an EXPENSIVE Motel 6, no food within "walking distance", $500 in car repairs, $120 in tow (beyond the 3 miles AAA gave me as part of my membership to an AAA repair center, tow gave me a discount there, and signing up for an AAA Bank of America card gave another 5% discount and cash back.  But that just replaced belts they had to ship in from New Jersey to Ohio, not my water pump which will be another $500 (pump is cheap, labor on a transverse mounted front wheel drive car is expensive).  The financial stress is a nightmare and I am not sure what to do.

I am going to put up what I paid, and a "Guestimate" of another surgery to start. If her cancer is malignant, I have no idea of those costs but I will try a "best guess".

Also please pray for Bonnie Blue, as well as my service canine Marley Michiko, my roommate, Daniel Martin Cheuka...and myself.

Thank you,

John
