Mrs Martin served Temple ISD as a teacher and administrator or over 20 years. In her last decade as Principal at Meridith Dunbar Elementary she was recognized by President Reagan for her achievements in education as well as numerous other accolades.

Mrs Martin retired in the early 1990s yet her impact on children and education can still be felt today around the globe. In August of this year as the first school bell of the year rang for many students her dismissal bell rang and she was called home.

This fund is established by her former students and teachers to erect a fitting memorial to our beloved principal at the school she so dearly loved.

All funds raised will be used for a memorial at Meridith Dunbar. Any additional funds not used on the memorial will be donated to the Temple Education Foundation in her name for the benefit of all TISD Students.
