Good Morning,

My Best Friend and Life Partner Bonnie Holland passed away in my arms at home after a two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She fought and fought with all her strength to keep life going but she couldn't fight anymore.

Bonnie worked at Finning Ltd for 20+ years and then was one of the first people hired at Clearly Contacts where she also had a 20+ year career. I met Bonnie at Finning and we instantly became great friends and the our relationship expanded and last June 2023 we celebrated our 30th year together.

Bonnie was a very kind, caring person who would help out any way she could.

Bonnie loved any and all animals especially her horse "Brandy" who passed away many years ago.......we have had 3 West Highland Terrier dogs over the years and the photo above is of Winston & Daisy taken at Stanley Park the day after they arrived from a breeder in North Carolina. Both Winston & Daisy worshipped the ground Bonnie walked on and would follow her any time she got up use the washroom or make a cup of tea. We lost Winston at age 6 but I still have Daisy who is now 10 years old and is very upset & confused at not seeing Bonnie up & about this morning.

Bonnie was born in Princeton BC and moved to the Lower Mainland area in her teens, she lived down here but Princeton was always her true home.

I would never ask for anyone's financial assistance but I have to this time as the cost of Cremation is truly shocking from the prices I have received this morning.

Anything that could be donated would help me a great deal to get Bonnie home to Princeton.

I am devastated beyond words at her passing and the only thing that keeps me going right now is that I know that she is no longer having the tremendous amount of pain that she has been having the last number of days.

I need to be strong and get everything taken care of so I can get my own life sorted out.
