Bonnie Guitar

This is for the Legendary singer songwriter Bonnie Guitar. In the early 1950s, she was recruited to be a session musician for a studio in Hollywood, a fateful career move that would fuel two sides of her musical passion. It led, first of all, to her first major hit: "Dark Moon" climbed both the country and pop charts in 1957, leading to a taste of bona fide fame.

But that studio job also served as a training ground for what may be a equally unusual accomplishment: Bonnie Guitar started her own record label in Seattle in 1958, eventually landing two acts that still tower among the giants of Pacific Northwest music: The Fleetwoods and the Ventures.

Bonnie Guitar continued to make music, flirting with commercial success many times over the decades. But what may be her most impressive musical accomplishment, besides the mark she’s left on the industry as an artist, businesswoman and innovator, is her longevity.

Bonnie is now 95 years young. Due to many health issues including congestive heart failure and unforeseen medical needs this gofundme is in place to help Bonnie and her family cover these costs that rapidly accumulate  with the care she needs to be able to stay home during this precious part of life. The costs of over $5000 per month are needed to help get the care she needs almost immediately to continue care that she very much needs.

Bonnie Guitar has spent a lifetime as an entertainer.  She was always so proud of how she never missed a show even when ill ! If you are a fan of Bonnie's music this is a great way to give back to someone who has given so much in her long life! Thank you for reading this and Thank you for helping the very wonderful Bonnie Guitar!

BONNIE’S Daughter Tiffany carter and executior of her estate will be making sure all proceeds go directly towards Bonnie’s medical monies needs.
