Bone marrow trust (james hospital Burkett ward)

Hi All
Im looking to raise money for the bone marrow unit in james hospital (Burkett’s ward dublin) by taking part in the 100K Dublin cycle.
The reason i decided to do this was 21 years ago my wife Roisin needed a bone marrow transplant and was send to Burkett’s ward which she spent 7 weeks in isolation with 8 other people with the same diagnosis men ,women,children not all made the horrific battle through that period ,
but I remember the people I met had to travel from all over the country with there families,give up work basically there life was put on hold ,and financially struggling.
so the money I raise will go towards helping them out at this horrible time with food and the basic needs while in isolation.
