Jolyn's Bone Marrow Transplant Expenses

We want to thank every single one of you who have donated and help spread the word about our financial concerns as we prep for Jolyn’s bone marrow transplant. 

We are thrilled to share that an anonymous donor has offered to cover the cost of boarding for our sweet Ophelia. We are in awe of the generosity our friends, family, and strangers have shown us. 

Also, please know that all funds collected through this will be going directly towards medical bills and living expenses and we continue Jolyn’s road to recovery.

 It is with unfortunate news that my partner Jolyn and I have reached a very tough point in life. Jolyn was diagnosed with an aggressive and rare cancer two years ago and we are so thankful that she has finally reached remission. With the many challenges we have been facing with treatments and care we are in a position of desperate need financially.

Jolyn will be getting a bone marrow transplant in hopes of defeating this terrible cancer. Due to the transplant we have a lot going on in the next few weeks and for the next 90 days.

The first day of high dosage chemo starts March 17th, 2024 for 4 days. The bone marrow transplant is scheduled for March 22nd, 2024, and then after for additional 90 days.

One of our biggest challenges we are facing is that we are needing to stay at Moffitt Cancer Center- Hope Lodge after Jolyn gets discharged so that she can be seen daily and monitored, and get the help she is needing to recover. Sadly we are unable to bring our dog Ophelia and are needing to board her during this challenging time. With the financial strain we have been facing we are unable to afford boarding for her.

If you are able to, we are asking if you can donate to reach our goal financially of $3500 to cover her boarding costs for the 90 days. We absolutely understand if you are not able to donate, if you can share this we would greatly appreciate that too.

It’s going to be a hard and trialing few months, but having Ophelia boarded and comfortable would be greatly helpful and I would be able to fully commit to helping Jolyn with her fight against cancer.
