Hello friends, Our rescue dog Manny has an extremely low amount of platelets and white blood cells for reasons unknown to his Internal Medicine Specialist. He is at risk of spontaneously bleeding at any point. This could be fatal if this happens in his brain. He has had many tests, including bloodwork, ultrasounds and xrays but Manny needs to have his bone marrow tested to help figure out what is wrong with his blood. In order to have the bone marrow testing done, he will need to have a blood transfusion prior to the procedure to help make sure that he doesn't bleed out while he is under anesthetic.  We appreciate any help that you can provide for our little guy. He is only one and a half years old, and we would like to help him live a long and healthy life.
