Bonds & Brooms started as a photography project to document the women who work to make Rwanda the cleanest country in Africa. Through this project, strong and trusting friendships have been formed between the project founder and photographer, Eric Murinzi, and the featured women.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in Rwanda, many of these women have lost their jobs. This means they are not receiving any income and are struggling to feed their families.
Through this campaign, we will start by supporting 10 women and their families. However, there are many more who need our help during this time. So the more we raise, the more families we can support. We will provide them with food supplies as well as cleaning supplies (hand soap, towels, dish soap, etc.)
