A little under two months ago, the Brown family, specifically Bryant, received words from his doctor that no person wants to hear-it’s cancer. After many tests were done, Bryant was officially diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer on September 11, 2020. A day that had already provoked a multitude of feelings to most Americans will now be a day of different meaning to them. Bryant is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments every other week and in the upcoming months, he will be undergoing a surgery where he will be hospitalized for about a week.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Bryant for the past 6 years where our children started playing sports together. Alicia, his amazing wife, I have known since grade school. I have had the pleasure of caring for their awesome two young boys- Grant age 11 and Grady age 4, whom are the lights of their lives. Bryant is a hard worker and committed to his profession and his family . He is the Lead Supervisor at International Wire and is a great father to their boys and husband to his wife. Alicia who is the beloved Westmoreland Elementary School nurse, is the most caring, loving, most positive person I have ever known. She always has a smile on her face and her arms wide open for a hug! Alicia takes great pride in her work and treats the students as if they were her own children.
This loving family is going through so much during this unfortunate time. They are strong and will continue to stay positive and fight this cancer! The Brown family will be facing multiple medical and traveling expenses and will need extra support from us all! If you are willing and able to donate to this wonderful family who has done so much for many others, I would be so grateful. Love, support, and especially prayers are always welcome as well! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and let’s help give this family a little less to worry about, especially around the holiday time!
