Bondalem Waste Management & local kids playground

This fundraiser is about raising funds to continue the great work happening by the Bondalem Eco Village group in North Bali. The project has been active for 1 year now and made great progress in waste management. We separate and process organic to sell on as compost and we also sort plastic and shred to sell onto upcycling companies that make furniture and eco bricks etc. We are at a stage where we are effective but still not sustainable. The returns on the product fall short to keep the project going. We are refining the system and making headway in the marketplace but we still need funds to get it to the stage where it can pay for itself. The funds will be used for wages of 14 hands on workers and also maintenance of the machines and operational costs such as petrol, electricity etc. This is a groundbreaking project with a motto of 'Zero waste to Oceans'. We hope to pass onto other villages this prototype as a solution to the islands pollution problems.
