On Friday August 1, Lucas, despite having a work permit, a valid license, a pending asylum case, and no criminal record, was abducted at work (Sorrento’s Pizzeria in Acton) by masked men wearing tactical gear. He is a loving son who was apprehended by federal agents without a warrant or consent.
This case took two bond hearings and habeas corpus to have an immigration judge grant a bond. Now we have an opportunity to free him from unjust detention while he awaits further proceedings. Anything you can contribute is helpful and appreciated. We hope everyone will share this opportunity to support with a few other people. Together we can bring him home.
Whether you live in/around Acton, or care deeply about our broader community regardless of borders, donating and sharing with your network is one way to push back against the onslaught of violence from the federal government.
