Hi everyone. If you're seeing this, I want to start with a big thank you. I created this GoFundMe to raise money for my dog Bon Bon’s medical expenses. As many of you know, Bon Bon has been part of the heart and soul of our family for the past 15 years. He’s been with us through all the best and most difficult moments in our family. He’s my best friend.

As we all know, the last few years have been incredibly hard for everyone with the pandemic, inflation, and so much going on around the world. Unfortunately, My family and I were no exception.

To be honest, I never thought I’d have to use a resource like GoFundMe for support, but with accumulating expenses after graduating from the university this year, and other major expenses I've been left with little money to pay for Bon Bon's medical bills.

He passed his annual checkup with flying colors a couple of months ago, so to our surprise a few days ago we were completely caught off guard when Bon Bon couldn’t stand on his feet, and would literally topple over with every try. He's been struggling with his vision and hearing since this incident started and Has continually struggled to gather the strength to eat, which is completely out of character for him. Yet, even when he’s clearly unwell, he still shines his big, honey brown eyes and wags his tail with unconditional love any time someone walks in the room.

After consulting with two separate vets, we were told his platelets were extremely low and that he'd developed issues with his nervous and digestive systems. I've given everything I have (even cashed out my savings), but unfortunately, vet bills are extremely expensive. I don’t have the resources to give Bon Bon the care he deserves. I don't want to lose my best friend because I don't have enough money to help him. I want what’s best for him, even if it turns out that it’s his time to go. I don’t think I’d be able to bare not trying everything to save him, including reaching out to my friends and family for support. Anything and everything helps!
