Help with Bombay's Medical Bill

Hi! My name is Christine Alice, and I have a beautiful cat named Bombay Sapphire, like the gin, because I found him while very not sober while drinking that with my then-boyfriend, Desmond "Etika," and my bestie, Angel! Bombay is now 9 years old, and with that comes the usual: aging.

He is very sick.

Bombay is beloved on the internet, and I hope those who love him will contribute to his procedure. Our vet wants $2000 for services to diagnose him with heart failure, then another $6000 for hospital stay and treatment to get the fluid out of his lungs.

I currently cannot afford that bill, only a portion of it, so I would love if my rambunctious cat had some relief. He's practically OUR cat, you know? He's so cute and fluffy! Please donate what you can, no pressure whatsoever! Cats famously do not show pain (evolutionary trait), so I'm not riddled with guilt for not knowing. Thank you for reading this through! UPDATE: I had to make the very tough decision to let him go..... Even if I had the $8k to bring him to the operating room, life would not be the same nor would it be easy for him. Plus he hated being handled and hated doing anything he didn't wanna do, we would both be miserable. Bombay was an incredibly smart, affectionate cat who loved me with all his heart and soul.

I still have this $2,000 bill for all the treatments they performed, like an X-ray and an IV with medicine and fluids. A little goes a long way. Thank you for being an amazing cat, Bimbizzle. I know you and Dez will have a great time reconnecting. I love you so much.
