Bolton to Blackpool for David 'Nipper' Ashworth

On Sunday 6th December myself and 5 others will be walking from Bolton to Blackpool to raise money in memory of David 'Nipper' Ashworth to help support his family. Whilst it will in no way take away what his family are going through, we hope the money raised will mean one less thing to worry about during this time. Approximately 2 years ago David was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, despite every effort to treat this horrible illness, unfortunately, there was no more the doctors could do and following a hospital appointment in October David was devastatingly told that he had 2 months to live. Things progressed quickly and David passed away with his devoted wife Emma by his side. Those of you that know this family or have seen the posts on social media know how loving and positive they have been throughout. There is no denying that this will be/is tough for all the family, with 3 children, their youngest Harley being only 4 and with Christmas coming up, we want to help however we can to make this a time to look back on with some happy memories.
