Bolton Neonatal Unit
Donation protected
Hi all,
On the 29th August 2004, our daughter, Millie King, was born at 24 weeks and 4 days, weighing 1lb 7oz. She was given a 30% chance of survival and spent the next 107 nights in hospital, fighting for her life. This cost the NHS over £100,000.
To mark Millie’s 1st birthday, we organised a fundraising event, which raised £3,500. This was a great achievement and Bolton Neonatal Unit were so thankful. 20 years later, we’re getting ready to celebrate Millie’s 21st birthday, a milestone we once thought we’d never celebrate. Moving with the times, we have decided to try to beat our total all those years ago by spreading Millie’s story far and wide, in the hope to reach as many people as possible. The money raised will go directly to Bolton Neonatal Unit and will be spent on resources they desperately need. This will be an amazing way to say thank you for everything they did all those years ago, allowing Millie to be who she is today.
Please help us by donating what you can, if you can, by 8:17am on 29th August (the time and date Millie was born 21 years ago). Anything will be greatly appreciated!
Please also share this, where you can, to help us raise as much as possible.
Thank you, in advance, for helping us to give a little back to a place that gave us everything x
