Hi. My name is Mikaela Stewart, and I am training to be a professional ballerina.
I am seventeen years old, and have been dancing for fourteen years. I am currently training at the California Professional Ballet Program .
For the last three summers, I have been able -- with your generous help -- to study at the American Ballet Theatre in New York City.

As much as I have loved my summers at ABT, this year I have decided to try something different. After much deliberation, I have decided to accept a scholarship to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in New York, followed by a 2-week Classical Variations Intensive at Ellison Ballet .
With this fundraiser, I am hoping to raise money to help pay for the balance of my tuition, my room and board in the dorms, public transportation, and for my pointe shoes.
As a thank you for your support, I will be offering some fun gifts. Everyone who donates will receive a postcard from New York City. I am also giving away ballet photo prints (photos by my mom!) and personalized canvas tote bags for donations $100 and over.
