Bolo, my soulmate, my partner in crime, my other half. On the night of June 12th he was unfortunately hit by a car on his rear right leg and hip, we ended up taking him to the ER right away where he was X-rayed and had some studies done; but was told there was no broken bones, fractures, or internal bleeding; so we were sent home that morning being told to have him rest and to expect a 6 week recovery period. We left with nothing more than a few pain meds, and a hefty vet bill. Those 6 weeks past and although he is mentally stable and just as energetic and eager as before, he is still struggling to use his injured foot and have heard him whine a couple of times. So I end up taking him to the vet again and he sees an orthopedic doctor, and we’re told that he’s going to require surgery in which he’ll receive a metal implant, his mobility will be hindered but it is the best course of action and as close as he’ll get to a normal before the incident. It takes a lot for me, Daniel, as his father, to ask for a helping hand, I only do this because it is my responsibility to afford him the best quality of life possible. I ask of you to only donate if all your needs are met, yet I am eternally grateful for any assistance you may provide.
