Bojangles was found barely alive after ingesting rat poison, and his journey has been nothing short of heartbreaking.

Despite the emergency treatment he received, his back legs are defective, making it difficult for him to walk. Michele’s Rescue stepped in to save him from euthanasia, and we’ve been fighting to give him a chance at life.

While special braces were made to help bend his legs into a normal position, they didn't work and his legs have weakened further. Thankfully, a specialist at Blue Pearl Vet Hospital has given us hope. Bojangles’ tendons are too short/tight, and his hip sockets are underdeveloped, but with the right treatment, he can still thrive.

We’re planning to take him to Purdue University for further care, but the anticipated costs are overwhelming. We need your help to raise funds for his treatment.
