Bohermore National School Fundraiser

We are a small school located in County Limerick. We have a fantastic school community here in Bohermore in the past 12 months our school has gotten two flags for whole school initiatives including the Amber Flag for Wellbeing and the Cineáltas (Kindness) Flag. We have many children involved in a number of extra-curricular areas including Hurling, Football, Soccer, Horse-Riding, Choirs, Art and table quizzes to name but a few.

We are a small school that are developing quickly and all of the funds raised are used for the development and expansion of our school. We use the monies raised through fundraising for small projects like school trips, computers, guest speakers, sports equipment, busses and coaches to take the cost off parents or at the very least subsidise the cost.

The biggest thing we are fundraising for is a Playground and Astro Turf pitch, we currently have a small yard space and a pitch, unfortunately due to the weather the pitch is not suitable for use in the wetter months. The Playground and Astro Turf would provide the children with a safe space to play in no matter the weather.

We know we have a long way to go to achieve our goal but we will keep fighting until we get there. In the past we have raised enough money for a wonderful outdoor classroom and sensory garden and we are eternally grateful to our staff, families and wider community for the continues support, participation and involvement in our school fundraisers.

This year along with the 'GO FUND ME; we are holding a number of fundraisers including a skydive, family fun day, Christmas Movie Night, Late Late Toy Show Treat Bags, Table Quiz and Race night throughout the year.

We are always looking for new ideas so keep them coming!
