I am Bodhi's grandmother's lifelong friend, sort of an adopted Great Aunt to little Bodhi.
Bodhi is a full of life and smiles 7 month old little boy. He has an almost 2 year old sister Aiyana, and 2 great parents, Amber and Drew.
On the 30th of December 2016, little Bodhi's eye began to swell and after a trip to the Emergency room, he was transfered to Children's hospital in Omaha for an MRI. That is where his fight begins.
After many tests the family recieved the news that his swelling behind his eye is the metastasized.tumor of one that is located behind his liver. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Because of his age, it is treatable and with chemo to shink the tumors, and then surgery follows to remove both tumors. (hopefully after 4 rounds of chemo). His prognosis is good.
Amber and Drew(Bodhi's parents) have been and will be very busy taking care of Bohdi, and Aiyana. They need help for the expenses they have and will incur with Bodhi's on going treatments, appointments, and care.
If you can even donate time to help care for Aiyana so Drew and Amber can concentrate on Bohdi that would be great and deeply approciated too!!! Please Facebook message me and I can arrange the times/dates for that.
Any donations will be used strictly for expenses for Bodhi's care and their bills as they fight for Bodhi!
As a dear friend of the family, this would mean so much to all of us, and let Bodhi, Amber, Drew, and Aiyana know that the community cares deeply about them and are rallying behind them, not just in prayer; but in any way possible.
I want to thank anyone ahead of time who donates from the bottom of my heart, this will mean the world to the family.
