Bogey's Double Knee Surgery

We are B & M, the proud dog-parents of Bogey, a 1 year 8 month old Bully/Mastiff cross.

Anyone who knows Bogey, knows he is a gentle giant (currently weighing in at 130lbs).

He is a friendly boy who is a total goof, he loves to talk (or scream), hang out with his smaller big-brother (Major, our 12 year old English Bull Terrier), go the the barn, hike at our local conservation area, lounge in the sun, play in the backyard, or sit on the front porch and watch the world go by...just to name a few!

Recently, we noticed Bogey limping which resulted in vet visits, x-rays, and ultimately a trip to the specialist to find out that Bogey has torn his cruciate ligament and damaged his meniscus in BOTH of his hind legs. Basically, he needs two new knees!

Bogey requires double TPLO surgeries…Once the first surgery has been completed, without any complications, the second surgery will be scheduled 6 weeks later.

The entire surgery process will cost us about $13,000! We hate seeing Bogey in pain & cannot imagine a life without him in it. We appreciate any support and all funds raised will be put directly towards surgery and rehab!

We know that road to recovery will be long, but we are hopeful that in time, Bogey will no longer be in any pain and will return to his active life! THANK YOU!
