This go fund me campaign is on behalf of Jack Bogart and Pam Holden Bogart, who lost their house in the Suisun fire on June 3, 2020. Pam purchased the house in 1978 and both of her sons were born and raised in their home across the street from the Suisun marina boat ramp. They lost everything they own, except for the clothes on their backs and the vehicle that a firefighter was willing to drive away from the site for them before it too succumbed to the intense heat and flames. Priceless items that were lost in the blaze include baby pictures, family heirlooms, all of Pam’s jewelry, Jack’s father’s urn and ashes, a Jeep, a Harley, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air, years worth of food canning, etc. This year has been especially cruel to the Bogarts, as Pam suffered from a stroke in February and a traumatic fall in March that landed her in the hospital with a broken leg. Jack and Pam were already feeling the tension from COVID-19 concerns, the Fairfield, CA riots, looting and civil unrest from the evenings before, so getting the phone call informing them that their house was on fire made this year seem like their worst nightmare. Jack and Pam are wonderful, kind people who are lifelong Christians and proud Americans. Pam sold Tupperware since 1978 and now enjoys gardening and crocheting, while Jack is a retired union electrician and is an avid outdoorsman who lost his fishing poles to the fire. The miracle that leaves us feeling grateful is that in the midst of the ruble, their Bible was found intact. We appreciate any help and no donation is too small.
