Hi, my name is Corwin Shorter, and I’m humbly reaching out during the most difficult chapter of my life.

I suffered a brain stroke that drastically changed everything. In the chaos of that moment, I fell hard, biting through my tongue and slicing my face with a knife during the fall. I was rushed to the emergency room, terrified and in pain, and the medical team worked tirelessly to stabilize me. I’m grateful to still be here—but healing is just beginning.

Between surgeries, therapy, and medications, the medical expenses are overwhelming. On top of that, I’ve been bankrupted by past health costs and I'm unable to work as I focus on recovering physically and emotionally.
