The Body and Soul Healing Arts Center is a cooperative community center where people are invited to gather to impact their entire quality of life. Alice's Garden, Milwaukee Food Council, Wisconsin Doulas of Color, The Table, Men of African Descent Circle, Slow Foods Southeast Milwaukee, Fly Minds Boot Camp, SIMSA (Safe In My Sisters Arms), Bronzeville Arts Ensemble, Lights! Camera! Soul!, andMPower Theater are some of the MANY Milwaukee organizations that utilize the center.
We are engaged in a fundraising campaign to support everything that happens at Body and Soul. Your donation will help pay for light, heat, wifi, building supplies and program supplies. We want to be able to keep the doors to Body and Soul open! It is an important gathering space, in the Sherman Park neighborhood, serving the Greater Milwaukee area and beyond.
The Body and Soul Healing Arts Center has been birthed out of the leadership of Venice Williams, a beacon of light, hope and healing for so many in this city, serving in Milwaukee for more than 27 years. Your donation will also honor her work and presence in our city.
