Join us on theapp                     Bodhi Sage was diagnosed with Bcell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on January 14th 2019.   She has fought hard, undergoing countless chemo treatments, blood transfusions, lumbar punctures, intrathecal chemo and bone marrow aspirations.  She reached remission February 14, 2019 with continuous treatment for the next 2 years.  She sailed through each phase shining her fiery light with every step. After a routine lumbar puncture/ intrathecal chemo procedure we received the phone call that the leukemia had returned pretty aggressively in her spinal fluid. She began reinduction, intensive chemo on May 22, 2020 and responded beautifully.  We were inpatient for 5 weeks and she reached remission on June 20, 2020.  With the high amount of leukemia cells found in her spinal fluid and the fact that she was still receiving active treatment during her relapse, she is considered very high risk and we are moving forward with a bone marrow transplant. Though this journey is not an easy one, we choose every day to see the beauty and gifts within each moment. We’ve spent many days inpatient in the hospital and will be inpatient at the transplant hospital in San Antonio for up to 3 months. Bodhi Sage is the most magical and spunky little girl and we have no doubt that she will continue to be the brave inspiring fighter that she is.  We have set up this fundraiser so people who feel called can help us out with these new expenses that we will have during transplant phase and recovery.
