Sidney and Jordan welcomed Waylon and Bodhi into the world on August 17th. They arrived at 28 weeks, and their entrance was more than dramatic. Waylon was born at 2 am at Pender Memorial Hospital, and Bodhi was delivered at 6:32 am at NHRMC. They had a wonderful 19 days with the two of them in the NICU. Unfortunately, Bodhi passed away due to complications from NEC. Our hearts are broken for them as parents and for his sweet brother. Waylon was doing great, slowly recovering from his own battle with a blood infection and meningitis. He started to get better but things went downhill and he had to be flown to Chapel Hill for extensive brain surgery. Sidney and Jordan are first-time parents who were over the moon about having twin boys and we want finances to be the least of their worries. Donations will be given to them to help pay for the continuing medical expenses and anything else they might need during this time.
